I just upgraded from version 1.5.2 to 1.6.0 and have come across a bunch of things which dont seem to be quite right. After the update my site is working fine, but the admin cp seems to be in all sorts of problems.

First of all the theme doesn’t seem to be picking up any images (attachment 1). You can see there are a load of things that aren’t what they should be. If you compare it to what you see here - http://ellislab.com/blog/entry/160_preview_and_multiple_rick_manager_birthday_contest/ things are in the wrong order. Notice there are no errors and it is picking up the fact that 1.6.0 is installed.

Next up is the modules page doesn’t list the pages module.

And finally in the admin section (attachment 1) there are issues such as missing links to category custom fields etc.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Hi, Daniel—

First, make sure that you go to My Account -> Control Panel Theme and choose the default theme.

Secondly - it looks like a bunch of things simply didn’t get uploaded.  Can you try re-uploading the files?  We can try troubleshooting from there. =) Make sure you get the themes folder as well, of course. =)

    Hi Lisa,

I tried uploading a couple of times and eventually it gave in and finally started working. It must have been something to do with my ftp or internet connection. Thanks for yor help.
