I was just going to upgrade to 1.6 so I made a backup of my config.php file, then I went to my admin area where I was going to make a database back-up before updating, but it just loaded a blank page. I went to my site root and saw this error message…
“The system path does not appear to be set correctly. Please open your path.php file and correct the path.”
I checked my path file and nothing has changed, it’s still in the same place (site root) and still points to the correct directory for my admin area. I thought that maybe I’d accidentally done something to my config.php file but that seems to be fine.
I haven’t uploaded any 1.6 files or anything yet, what happened above is all i’ve done since this morning. It was working fine last night.
