Multi-site links incorrect

    I’ve just purchased the multi-site add-on, and noticed an issue with the site links being generated incorrectly.

    I’ve installed the “core” EE at http://cms.andys.eu with an additional site setup of http://www.andyheathershaw.uk.

    I’ve copied the index.php and admin.php files into the additional site’s webroot and added the following lines into both php files:

    $assign_to_config['site_name']  = 'andyh_vcard';
    $assign_to_config['cp_url'] = 'http://cms.andys.eu/';
    $assign_to_config['site_url'] = 'http://www.andyheathershaw.uk/';

    If I then login to http://www.andyheathershaw.uk/admin.php, the “View Site” link is generated as:

    http://cms.andys.eu/?URL=http://cms.andys.eu/

    which is obviously incorrect.

    The same incorrect URL is generated for the “live look” link when adding or editing an entry:

    http://cms.andys.eu/?URL=http://cms.andys.eu/blog/article/17

    Please can this be corrected in a future MSM release?

    This was a case of user error - apparently as well as defining the site URL in the index.php file, you also have to provide it in General > Administration as well.

    Why do you have to set this twice?  Surely index.php can pick up the URL from the database using the site key?
