Hi,
I am a new to codeigniter and I am trying to combine jquery with CI.
I created a simple registration mechanism where a user is able to choose its own unique username.
What I am trying to do is while the user typing its username to load the database inside the jquery function so as to be able to check if the selected username is available.
Is this possible or have to load the DB through another way?
