I hope I didn’t miss the obvious, but I can’t seem to find a simple way to count the number of entries in a channel and display that to the user in the template.

For a publication site, I just want a dynamic way to display the number of articles and interviews available. I want this on the home page so there are tags or segments in the URL to work with.
