    Hello,
I am new here so please bare with me if I appear a little green around the gills. Will do my utmost not to tread on any toes.

I am having a pretty bad problem with my Expression Engine / Xpresso Store site at http://www.parkbeekeeping.com

The issues I’m having are as follows:

It gives different errors on differing items depending on log in status.

For instance the product ‘4 Frame Radial Honey Extractor’

If you are NOT logged in and you attempt to add it to the cart it works fine, however if you *ARE logged in you get the error message

    “The following errors were encountered

You are not authorized to perform this action

    Return to Previous Page”

The product ‘Ball Bearing’, it behaves in the same way.

I haven’t had time to check all 600+ products as yet as I am busy running my business at this my busiest time of year.

Another example of odd behavior for instance is the book ‘Plan Bee’, if logged in as SuperAdmin (I realise no one would have this status and be shopping but I was diagnosing issues logged in as SA and it threw up this very odd error so) and you try to add it to the cart it gives the error:

    “A PHP Error was encountered

    Severity: Notice

Message: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 0 of 96 bytes

    Filename: store/mod.store.php

    Line Number: 833
    The following errors were encountered

You are not authorized to perform this action

    Return to Previous Page”

I have bhad email conversations with Xpresso Store support and they are baffled particularly by the latter error in particular. Stating they have never seen that error before and therefore suspect it is installation related.

Any light or help anyone can offer would be hugely appreciated. I am losing orders due to the issue.

    Many thanks in advance

If anyone else has this issue this is caused by the store product tag outputting it’s javascript twice causing a conflict. If you’re calling the tag more than once on a single entry page then only include JS in one of the tags, or combine into one tag instance 😊.

Thank you for this. It cured the problem.
