    Hi Folks,

I have a recurring issue where I need to grant member access to modules (so they function) but I don’t want those members poking around the “Add-Ons” navigation tab.

It seems that “Module Access” is dependent on “Control Panel Access” in the group settings or permission errors are forthcoming.

I’m not sure if this applies to all modules/plugins/extensions but it seems to be the case for most of them. (Wygwam might be one exception)

Has anyone encountered this issue or found a workaround?

Even just hiding the ‘Add-Ons’ tab would suffice if I could only select it in the CSS.

    Thanks,

    CJ

Although you can grant access to Addons>Modules logged in users will only see modules/extensions links they have access to, the others will be hidden.

There are some addons that allow you to customise the CP navigation, can’t add the link here right now as Devo-tee is down for me.
