Channel Field specific info not showing up in channel field setup

After updating to EE 2.8, I am unable to edit any channel-field-specific info for an existing channel field or if I add a new channel field.

For example, if I have a Channel Images channel field that I add to a channel, I should get some options specific to that channel field type below the standard setup field for Label, Name, Instructions, etc. down to Field Order. Normally, there should be another section below all this that allows me to select image manipulations specific to Channel Images. This section is not there, and I don’t see it for any channel field types.

Any ideas what may be going on?
