I have a problem with IE8 not displaying the native EE rich text field.  I’m running EE 2.7.2 and unfortunately IE8 is used on our corporate computers without much option to update.

I really want to use the native RTE but if it’s not supported in IE8 I might have to take it out. Does anyone know if IE8 is supported for the RTE field?  Has anyone experienced this issue also? And is there a work around or fix?

The text field itself simply doesn’t display at all in IE8.

I’m experiencing the same issue and was wondering if you ever found a solution? I’ve stumbled across a few posts from people with the same, but haven’t found any solutions as yet.
