What is your experience with Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES)? The cost per email delivered is very very low as compared to traditional players like MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, etc? Is it suited more for transnational type of emails or good for campaigns/newsletters blasts as well?
I assume no issues with entering their settings into EE’s SMTP config screen?
Not sure hot it handles bouncing emails and un-subscribe. Assuming EE would handle that end?
There is a pretty nifty PHP app that provides a slick interface for Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). Would be cool to see some bridge/module from it to EE. (http://sendy.co/)
