After updating to 2.7.1. we get this error if we update an entry: You did not select a file to upload.

There is a custom field with type “file” present, but this field isn’t mandatory.

Also, when I add an image, save the entry, edit the entry again and remove the image I can save the entry.

If I edit it again and try to save it again, the error shows up and I can’t save the entry anymore.

What’s going on?  s this a bug? It’s very annoying because we can’t update our entries in that channel anymore.

    TIA

Until this gets resolved, if you must allow the user to submit the form without getting this error, you can set your Upload directory to “All” to on that File field to allow submitting. I’m also awaiting this fix.
