Since updating to v2.6.1 I am no longer able to login as another member. If I log in as a Super Admin and search for a user I can still click on the “Login as Member” link. I am taken to the next screen and offered radio buttons, which I select “Control Panel”. It now ask for “You must submit your current Super Admin password to continue” which I provide and then I go to the main login screen. Anyone else having this issue? Hard to troubleshoot user issues without being able to login as the user occasionally.

Just FYI that I am having the same issue with v2.6.1 - Build Date: 20130506.  After I enter the Super Admin password and press SUBMIT, I get the following EE error:
    An Error Was Encountered
You are not authorized to access this page

I tried resetting the password for my account (a member of the SuperAdmins group), but perhaps I am missing something else?  I don’t recall having a specific SuperAdmin account, but just in case, I reset my initial EE user account’s (a SuperAdmin account as well) password, but still no luck.

Has there been any resolution on this issue? I’m running EE 2.7.2 and if I try to login as member and put in the super admin password and tell it to log me in at the control panel it brings me back to the login screen instead of bringing me to the control panel logged in as the other member.

Hi Brian, I was tussling with this just now.

Changing my security settings to cookie only worked for me.

    Hope that works for you.
