Can someone tell me, when the The Cookie Consent Module will be updated for the latest EE version, 2.6.1.

I got this errors in developer log:

3 2013-06-22 11:57 AM Deprecated function show_user_error() called in system/expressionengine/third_party/cookie_consent/ext.cookie_consent.php on line 340.
Deprecated since 2.6. Use show_error() instead. 

2 2013-05-21 10:42 PM Deprecated function set_variable() called in system/expressionengine/third_party/cookie_consent/mcp.cookie_consent.php on line 63.
Deprecated since 2.6. Use view-><var> = <value>; instead.

Should the module need an update for 2.6 or what?

Can someone help me with this?

Hey folks, I was pinged on this thread in support.  Quick note- you really want to report bugs to the bug tracker.  I routinely check it and it is the centralized location for bugs.

I entered this issue as a bug report here and I’ll get that fixed up and reply back to the bug report.

The deprecation messages don’t mean anything is broken and the add-on should work fine right now.  Of course- we want to get that cleaned up.  But I wanted you to know the module is currently usable ‘as is’.
