    Hi,

    I have been trying to get my titles and URLs in order on my site, but having some trouble.

    Thankfully Ian from NSM Better Meta was able to help me get my custom field into the <title> tag so that Google recognizes it.

    I was hoping though to have that custom channel field, {mixtape_name}, go into the actual URL of the channel on entry creation.

    Currently, the {title} tag goes into the URL which is also my “Artist name.” A URL looks like this:

    http://www.getrightmusic.com/mixtape/post/tre-live
    But, I’d love it to automatically be this: http://www.getrightmusic.com/mixtape/post/tre-live-{mixtape_name}

    Is there a way to make this happen with EE?

    Thanks!

    Jesse

    I haven’t used this, but you might look into Title Master: http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/title-master , which should give you the ability to use custom fields in the title automatically.
