    Hi,

Our system is running on the EE version 2.5.3.

We have problem to upload JPEG file from file manager, although uploading gif and png file works fine.

Below is the error message when I upload JPEG file through the File Upload Window

“ The connection to the server was reset
while the page was loading. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy.
Try again in a few   moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network   connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure   that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. ”

For example, if I upload the test.jpg file from file manager in CP,  The above error message shows. However, I can see the test.jpg and the temp_file_test.jpg file in the specific directory in the file system but it does not go to _thumbs.

Here is attached screen shot of the error message.

Please help us for that issues.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Is is a large file? You could be hitting the servers max file upload size, or the max execution time causing a timeout.

I still have the problem with loading jpg file if its size is larger than 1.2kb, although I can upload large gif and png file (1MB). Some setting in php.ini are listed below
          max_execution_time: 300
      memory_limit: 500M
      post_max_size: 8M
      upload_max_filesize: 8M
      max_execution_time: 300

problem is that I can not upload jpg image file?

In the crome the error is: The server closed the connection without sending any data.
