Hi, I need following:
- E-magazine that can be created by channel entries
- Forum swich to phpbb OR add-ons for Forum Module that is way too poor for any of the forums used today!
- add-on that is easy to setup and allows you to use SC with adding videos (vimeo and youtube)
- mobile templates for EE? Anyone selling? Regular site templates, anyone? (i know the one and only, but those are way too old today for full usability).
And many more. There is a lot of basic features that should be included into this CMS of EE (like Custom system messages that bypass those annoying core functions) but seriosly speaken, its way behind the markets already and will cost a lot of cash to make multifunctional and RICH website with it. Basicly its only a platform for developers to make money - with core functions there is too much hassle and too little features, for blogging yes, for serious business no.
No hard feelings, i would love to stay with EE cos i love it and somehow know how to build this’n thats with core but because this is getting way too costy, its Joomla! or else pretty soon because of the lack of needed features that all CMS already has build-in but no EE.
