Renaming SYSTEM folder causes front end error

I had my site working perfectly on a subdomain. I changed the name of my “system” folder to “sec”. I followed the instructions to update the folder name in index.php and admin.php.

I changed the name in the config.php and database.php

I also changed it in several places in the backend such as the global template preferences.

The front end is not showing up at all. I just get a server error, but the backend is working fine.

I even tried putting the full server path in index.php with no luck

I’m really lost on this one.
