What could be causing the following error message after “Modify or delete/Entry” is selected from the middle large menu box in the main control panel window? Right after the error messages, the Edit Channel Entries window appears with list of entries. I’m using mysql 5.1.66; ee version 2.5.3

I found this thread:  http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/219508/#1013243  and saw that I had created the same issue. I had deleted a channel that an install of Assets and indexing had corrupted. Some images remained in the database associated with the old channel and were showing up in the edit entries window with no channel assigned. Deleting the images removed the errors. Now to find out why simple search is no longer working throughout the site.
