    Hi,

I’ve build a fair number of EE based sites - mostly standard business portfolio stuff.  But I’m about to start a site for a sports club which will certainly need a different set of ‘tools’.  So I’d be really interested to hear people’s suggestions for the best installation (add-ons etc) to achieve the following facilities:

    - Individual Registration/membership.
    - Public and members only sections/content
    - Fairly comprehensive image gallery (happy to consider a Flikr add-on or similar here, so long as I can pull in a feed.
    - Facebook feed (this should be easy)
    - comprehensive (multiple) calendar facility (use google cal API ?).

    Many thanks in advance,
    Tony

    Tony,
I’d be inclined to use Zoo Visitor for the member registration. For the members only content I’d wrap that content in if conditionals based on the member group they belong to. Image Gallery I’d use Channel Images or alternatively if you wanted to pull from Flickr, grab your Flickr RSS url and then use something like Feed Parser to pull those images in (we do this on http://www.greenviewchurch.co.uk)

Not sure what you want to do with the Facebook feed?

And for multiple calendar I’d use Solspace Calendar.
