    Hey Friends –

    I recently attempted to edit an export of a database for an EE site that had been overloaded with spam user registrations - to remove these users from the system - and then import the updated DB to the live one.

    When I did this, it broke the site completely.

    I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this issue, or will I have to rebuild from scratch?

    Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Brain,

    The site isn’t showing any error message. Go into the index.php file at the root of your site

    and update

    $debug = 0;

    with

    $debug = 1;

    Now you can see the error message which would help you to resolve the issue.

    Best Regards,

    Bhashkar,

    That pointed me to my error. Issue with my database.php file.

    Thanks!
