    Hello,

Earlier today we launched a new website for our client (new CMS is WordPress, but that isn’t the issue).

They have a very old installation of EE that we would like to keep archived at http://sitename.org/archive/

I moved the files, and did a ‘find and replace’ in the database for the new URL.

I’ve been noodling around with the path.php settings, but not having any luck accessing the old website (i am getting blank pages). Furthermore, I cannot login to the EE CMS. I am getting an error that reads “The username you submitted was not found in the database”.

The old site is running on ExpressionEngine 1.6.8 - Build:  20100121

The PHP version is 5.3.15 (not sure if this could be the problem, since the website was running fine earlier).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

I’ve also tried setting up the EE install on a subdomain and am having the same issues.
