    Hi,

Hope someone can help me with an issue I’ve been seeing. I have hundreds - maybe thousands - of member pages, i.e. http://www.mydomain.com/index.php/member/1729/ in the Google index. All the pages are very similar and don’t return a 404 error.

I have removed the members since this was a relic from an old forum I used to run, but now all the member pages are still there. Ideally I would like the member area to be non-existent, or at least have the member pages 404’d.

I can’t help but think this can’t be good in terms of Google and recent developments targeting thin content and the like.

Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks for any help you can provide!

    BTW, I’m on ExpressionEngine v 1.7.1.
