    Hi,

I was running along ok yesterday and suddenly I got a white/blank screen on my site. I checked the usual suspects such as the path etc and all was good.

Strangely if I look at the templates in the control panel, many of them are blank, however as they are saved as files when I look at them in dreamweaver, all the code is there. I am looking at the same template and getting two different views..one blank, one good.

Templates are set to be saved as files etc.

I was dealing with publishing content when this happened so I dont think I upset the settings anywhere.

Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might resolve it?

    Thanks
    BD

Note I am also “unable to save your template as a text file”. I have checked permission on templates folder at 777

Never seen this before but as for a resolution have you tried Design->Templates->Synchronize Templates

    Hi Gareth,

I was hopeful but I get the same error “unable to save your template as a text file”

See a screen capture of the sync screen attached.

Yikes….stop panicking. Ive just confirmed I’m a dropkick.

Long story but the short story is the path WAS wrong, it just looked right.

    Sorry to waste your time!

Thanks for posting this, actually! I just copied an install to use for another project and was having the same problem. I thought I had changed all the paths, but thanks to your note, I double-checked, and yes: the template path was wrong.
