How would you go about the following:

Sitea is live and client is making changes to the content, adding blog posts, pictures, etc. They want to add another site to there ee installation. Siteb gets built on the dev server, how would you go about uploading siteb to sitea without overwriting the changes the client made to sitea?

any help or insight would be great.

    cheers,

To be clear, you’re talking about a completely new site with different templates and content, yes?

If so, Multi Site Manager would be the way to go.

OK. Looking again at the topic title, it seems you already have MSM installed. My apologies.

You’re not going to be able to just upload this one and change some paths. You’re going to have to set the new site up in MSM & do it the hard way, I’m afraid - copy and paste etc etc.
