Confused by Pages

I run two sites off my EE installation using the old method with multiple index.php files. Each site has a channel called “Site: Pages” and there’s also a template group for each site that holds any templates related to Pages.

On EE 1, this worked fine even though I have some pages that end up with the same Page URI, such as “About” which for both sites was defined as /About/, though naturally each was posted in a separate channel and associated with its own template.

On EE 2, it appears the same About page (whichever I visited first, it seems) is displayed for both sites, even though there’s no caching on the Templates in question.

Is there any way around this?

Ah, nevermind the comparison to EE 1. I forgot I had already had to make one changes; in EE 1, I had the URI of each page as /Site/Page/. So, for example, /Westeros/About/ for one of the sites.

But when I upgraded to EE 2, this stopped working. Or rather, my .htaccess rewrite for allowing me to use http://www.westeros.org/About/ instead of http://www.westeros.org/Westeros/About/ stopped working. So this is the same issue as I brought up here: http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/229588/

So, I will update in that thread instead and this one can be closed.

    Hi Linda,

I’ll close this one and we’ll keep working with you on the other thread!

    Cheers,
