RTE does not display

    I made sure that in add ons < modules, RTE is installed.
    Clicking on ‘Rich Text Editor’ I also made sure that RTE is enabled.
    In ‘My Account’ section ‘Rich Text Editor Preferences’ it is enabled too.
    In Channel XXX > Edit preferences, the option ‘Display Rich Formatting Buttons’ is set to ‘yes’.
    But when I publish an article in this XXX channel, there is not RTE buttons that display.

    Have I missed anything?

    Hey ZacWoe,

    What do you have set in your custom channel fields for the text area? Did you select the RTE field?

    Did you also enable the RTE extension in Modules—>Extensions?

    Hi Shane,

    Thanks to your hint to look in custom channel field. I coul find the issue.
    I forgot to click ‘Show Formatting Buttons’ in the custom fields settings.
