How can I set a related entry automatically using SafeCracker, instead of making it user selectable?

I know how to do it with a select field in the SafeCracker form, but I need to assign the related entry automatically using a hidden form field so the user can’t select the related entry themselves.

Any help is appreciated.

You may have already found the solution, but I figured I’d post this just in case. I was working on this tonight and came across your post. I accomplished this by doing the following.

<input id=“your_field_name” name=“your_field_name” type=“hidden” value=“entry_id_of_related_entry” />
