    Hello.
I have my website hosted on aruba.it and I have the problem that the image should show an entry, just show me the url.
In File Upload Preferences I had to put in the field of Server Path to Upload Directory’ve had to put a backslash \.
This I had to do to be able to generate the thumbnail images, but now does not show me the picture through the channel, at the time of posting the entry. If there are other channels, title, text, date, etc ...

    Does anyone know the solution?

    Hey plodiv72,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

Can you show me the path as you have in in your Control Panel?

How does that compare with the path you see when you are using an FTP client? Can you show me that path as well?

I am not sure I understand what you mean by using a slash to to generate thumbnail? Can you explain?

    Thank you,

If. In my control panel EE I used the following path:

    D: \ Inetpub \ webs \ elcuartodelasbotascom \ images \ uploads

I placed the rods in the inverted position, otherwise the server (http://www.aruba.it) not generate thumbnails, but the problem is that when you publish an image through the publish panel, the image shows the url is http://www.elcuartodelasbotas.com/images/uploads/pic1.jpg say.

The rest of the images in the web, ie, background, logo, etc. .. if shown on the web.

    Thanks.

    Hey plodiv72,

It sounds like you may need to get some of the windows server settings right. I am not very knowledgeable with Windows but I do know that there needs to be consistency with forward vs. back slashes.

Can you bring this issue to your server admin?

    Thank you,
