    Hi,
    I’m encountering this issue.
    I have changed the config file with the following

    $config['permitted_uri_chars'] = "a-z 0-9~%\.:_\-?=&";

    I have a htaccess file, with re-writes for index.php, and I’m on version 2.5.0

    Please help 😊

    Hey johnmck,

    When do you see this error? Just loading the site?

    Do things change if you remove some of the characters?

    Can I see your htaccess file?

    Thank you,

    Hi, when trying to download uploaded files. I’ll send you FTP details for the htaccess.

    Ok, something has gone wrong since converting the site to EE2. New uploads to this channel are producing URIs in the source HTML as

    /uploads/documents/reports/https://ellislab.com/asset/images/ent-partner-work/somedocument.pdf
