    We have a site with MANY entries - each one associated with a geographical location.

    When a user first encounters the site, they will navigate to their particular location through a series of selections.  Once the final selection is chosen, the browser is directed to the entry page with that location’s information.

    WHAT WE NEED - is when the user then comes back to the site on subsequent visits (daily), they are immediately redirected to their location’s entry.

    Quick/Easy way of doing this?  (Cookies, Java, etc?)

    Have looked further into this, and its looking like I might be better served using HTML5 local storage to do what I need.

    Once a visitor navigates to their selected page, the script on that page sets the URL for the “location” {segment_3}

    The question is, how do I use this to automatically forward the user to that page (from the home page) on subsequent visits?

    Has anyone used HTML5 localstorage for this function?
