I have set the access for several templates such that there is no access to Guests.

When I try to view these templates when logged in as super admin - it is sending me to the page I have specified as “When unauthorized users try to access this page, show this one instead:”

Is this the correct behaviour? I have never noticed this before.

    Hey Mediakitchen,

I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

That’s not right, it should not do that.

Can you take a screen shot of the selected options for the Access section of that template?

    Thank you,

Definitely some strange goings on with this build. The problem I mentioned seems to have resolved itself for now but I am experiencing similar odd issues.

For example earlier today a channel entries test displayed all channel field data apart from the file type field. Then it seemed to resolve itself possibly due to some actions I was performing in the control panel or through logging in and out.

I did not think there is any access rights required just to view a particular field value within a channel entry listing.

    Hey Mediakitchen,

    That is odd.

Anything I can help you with at this point?

    Cheers,

It is OK Shane - I have resolved the issue by assigning access rights to file manager to the member group in question - well that is how I think I fixed it. I will be back if the issue rears its ugly head again.
