    Hey there,

I have a site I’m running on EE that we’ve rebuilt (in a few months) in Django for various reasons. (sad, I know)

I was wondering if I could “transfer” the license I bought for that site, for use with another site. If so, how do I go about doing that?

    Thanks!

    Hi Deluko Media,

Sure thing! Do you want to use this license on another site that you’re operating and will just want to keep this license on your account? If that’s the case, you can simply use the license for the new site as long as you abide by the License. (In other words, you can only use each license of EE in one production installation at a time.)

    Does that help?

    Kevin,

That’s *exactly* what I meant. I figured that as long as the license only represents one site, it would be OK, but I wanted to be sure.

I just didn’t want that original license to “go to waste” so to speak. As always, you guys at EE make it fair and simple.

    Thanks!

😉  Glad Kevin got you squared away.  Yep, no need to contact us or anything- the license isn’t explicitly tied to a particular site.
