I am trying to create a form (outside of the CP) to allow users to submit data to a channel and need a plugin to make it happen. I know that there is SafeCracker for EE2, but I wanted to know if there is an equivalent plugin for EE1.
I have an old install I am working with that desperately needs to be updated to EE2, but in the meantime, I am stuck with EE1.

Coincidentally I am looking for the same thing.
I need some way to do a SAEF for Guest users (using a captcha to cut down spam) and have contents go into a channel/weblog with a custom closed status.
