It’s running into a permission issue.  Can you set permissions on the cache folder to 777?  Any difference?  (Should be fine with MAMP- I run on it.)

    Yes,
it does work. But I set up 777 permissions for that dir previously - does any restart needed?

Hrm- no, no restart.  It does sound a little odd, but I may just not be totally getting what happened.  But if it’s working fine now, I THINK you’re ok.  Though you know- I’d personally go in and manually delete everything in the cache folder.  Let EE rebuild it- and see if any errors occur when it does.  Just to be sure everything is working fine.  And the cache folder should be left 777.

Like I say- it sounds like you’re fine.  But doesn’t hurt to double check.

Yeah - we are fine. I just was curious as I did 777 bit still got these errors. On the next day when I start my mamp - everything was fine.I know that things are not fixing by itself, but anyway - we are fine

LOL- the joy of computers.  Sometimes stuff randomly breaks.  Sometimes stuff randomly fixes itself.

If you do run into the problem again?  Just let us know.
