I just installed and enabled an add-on which concludes of a module and extension in my local installation of EE and now it’s completely borked. I only see a white screen both when I try to access the site on the front and and when I go to my control panel.

Is there a way to disable an add-on outside of the CP, if I can’t access it?

What ee version? What add-on?  Does it contain data?  Have you gone into your system/expressionengine/config/config.php and changed enable extensions to n to see if you can log in?  Have you gone into mysql and after backing up, tried deleting the add-on?  If really stuck, restore your most recent back-up or host backup.

    Good luck!

Thank you, Enviromed. I simply changed $config[‘allow_extensions’] in my config.php file to “n” and was able to log back into my control panel and uninstall the add-on. Worked like a charm!
