Am I using the correct database?

A client recently attempted to move their site to a new server and new domain. All files and database were copied over - then they told me. Moving an EE site was new to me so I tracked down everything that needed revising - theme folders / absolute urls / upload folder paths etc. It all works fine now and the client wants to abandoned the original domain soon, but I’m not completely convinced the site is running off the new database. The config.php file says it is but I’m still not 100% sure. Looking at the php info, I don’t see a direct reference to the database name. How can I determine with certainty what database is running the site, so I can complete this transfer?

    Hi, Dave

PHP Info won’t be EE aware; you won’t see mention of it there.

If you make changes to the transferred site, do changes show up properly on the front-end?  That’s the best way to test!
