Hi, I’m about to build a website for a music agency,
the idea is to allow musicians to add/edit their own content (bio/pics/mp3s)
but only to their profile page - can this be allowed with the membership module, and still using just one musician profile template?
    Thanks

Also, do you think the SAEF could work - musicians submit their profile to their own entry (profile channel) via the SAEF - as pending / the site owner then edits/publishes the entry? BUT only each musician can submit to their own entry?

    Hi pixelcamp,

Yep, this is totally doable. In fact, I was going to recommend SafeCracker for the job. You could set up a template to let a logged-in user see their own entries (they would be assigned as the author of their own entries) and be able to edit those, and only those, entries.

You can use a status=”” parameter in your safecracker form to have entries default to a Pending status (which you’d need to create in the CP) that can be reviewed by the site admins.

    Does that help?
