    Hi,

I can’t find the answer to this anywhere and I’m sure it’s quite simple. I have my site testing in a sub directory: e.g. http://www.mydomain.com/mysite so all the EE files are in the folder ‘mysite’. When I go live with the site I want it to show at: http://www.mydomain.com. How can I do this without having to move all the EE files?

    Thanks.

    Hi Dotwebs,

Even though you won’t fully be moving servers here, this article in the User Guide will help you make sure you’re checking all the right spots. Depending on your host, you may or may not need to move servers, but you’ll want to get with your host to see what they need to do on their end. Either way, though, that article shows you all the spots in the CP where you’ll need to update your site’s URLs and file paths.

    Hope that helps!

Sure thing, Dorothy. Anything else we can help with?
