Having to re-create entries to get them to show

I’m wrestling with some issues after moving my site’s Events section. I was using Event Helper before (unique fields for start, end times). After upgrading to EE 2.52 those events wouldn’t show up in a list, nor would their pages render.

I’ve since replaced that functionality with Low Events (which is awesome). The curious thing: I can only get entries to show if I recreate them. Looking at the raw DB doesn’t show any corruption or anything unusual.

Any idea why the system isn’t seeing the old entries? I feel like I’ve heard of this sort of thing before, but can’t put my finger on it.

Any way to nudge EE to make it see those entries again?

    Hi Allan,

When you say that you can only get them to show, in what context are we talking about? On the front-end? And if so, what tags are you using? Or do you mean in the CP? Could you share some screenshots as an example? I’ve not heard of this happening myself, and it’s definitely not supposed to be that way.
