Hi Guys,

I’m running EE 2.5.2 and I’m working on a module that displays a tab in the content > publish and edit screens. But I’m having a problem seeing the tab under the super admin group. If I switch to a different group and preview the template in publish or edit content screens I see the tab no problem. But not when I’m under super admin. I did customize the channel entry screens for the super admin. Not sure if that has something to do with it. Any idea why this might be happening? Your help is appreciated.

After testing a bit more it looks like if I modify the original content > publish/edit screens for the super admin the tab doesn’t show. But if the layout screen is unchanged the tab shows. Any idea why this might be happening? Could this be a bug or something I missing in my module? Any help from EE tech is appreciated.

Ok, I figured it out. I didn’t have the correct module name in the $this->EE->layout->add_layout_tabs($this->tabs(), ‘module_name’). You can close this post.
