I have a huge channel form and I’m planning to use Autosave for better Ux. I have several mandatory fields but out of them rich textarea fields were giving issue when autosave initiated. The obvious error is “The following fields are required” and I can see only RTE fields there, though there are many other mandatory fields.
Any fix for this?

Is this in SafeCracker on the front end? Are you saying the RTE fields is throwing this error?
What version of ExpressionEngine are you currently using?

Hi Shane, I’m on latest EE version and it’s not on the SafeCracker end and in the CP only.
Yes RTE fields are giving error when system is trying to autosave. Please note that they’re mandatory fields.

I am unable to reproduce this.
Are you using any Add-Ons in the Control Panel, or any themes?
Is this in an edit or a new entry?
I could not reproduce either and I lowered the autosave down to every 10 seconds.
