HI GUYS.

A lot of what I want to do is mentioned in the title.

I want to create a dynamic list of site members.

The list will contain links to pages (a template) with channels relating to that user.

i.e. entries in certain channels authored by that user or other stuff associated with that member.

Please ask me if you need clarification or let me know if you have some idea on how I should accomplish this.

FYI I have a vanilla EE v2.5.2 installation with only the REElocate and Freeform addons.

Hmmm… Quite a few views, but no action here.

Would it be possible someone at least knows how to do the first part?

That is: How to output a list of registered site members using native EE features… ?

OR

Is it necessary that I will need to look at an addon for this function?

Okay so what I am looking to do is…

Essentially I want to filter entries in a channel by its author (or another member based field) where it matches a particular member.

For example, I want different users to have their own page which uses channels common across all users;
But their page will only show their entries, or entries intended for their page…

I will need to be able to output a members list, containing links to different users’ pages as mentioned above, taking a parameter from the url segment (or some other method) to filter the channel entries by the appropriate member…

I really look forward to some insight into how to accomplish this, as it’s a significant bottle-neck to moving forward…

In particular how to output the members list in the first place! :D

what should essentially be a basic feature of the cms and an easy question to answer….

HOW CAN I HAZ MEMBERS LIST AND FILTER ENTRIES BY MEMBERZS!?

There’s a filter by author addon at http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/eee2-filter-by-author

Otherwise you could use Dynamic parameters - http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/channel/dynamic_parameters.html

Failing that something like Solspace’s User module may work.
