    Hello, I have the following search form in my template:

    {exp:search:simple_form channel='rug_ch' results_page='trade-galleries/results' no_results_page='trade-galleries/no-results'}
    <input type="text" name="keywords" id="keywords" class="siteSearch"> <input type="submit" value="search" class="searchButton">
    {/exp:search:simple_form}

    however neither the results nor the no results templates are used by the search form- a search term that returns results lands on search/results and a search term that returns no results lands on search/no-results. When I identify a 404 template in my global template preferences any result of a search is directed to the 404 page.

    What am I missing?  The results and no-results templates exist.

    Hello TPE,

    Thank you for posting your question.

    It sounds like maybe you have the url for the results page hard coded. Can you check your channel preferences for rug_ch and tell me if there is anything in the results page url field?

    Please let me know and we can go from there.

    Cheers,

    Hey there TPE,

    Are you using strict URL’s?

    If I want to login and take a look, would that be cool?

    Thank you,

    Hey TPE,

    Sounds good, be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Thanks,

    Looks like the problem on this one was just a typo in the parameter names. TPE was using the parameters results_page and no_results_page, where the actual parameter names are result_page and no_result_page. No plural on “result”. 😊
