All my pages say, “Home” and all have the MM tagline as the metadata. Just undated to 1.2.1 from a much older version (1.0.6). I honestly can’t remember if they worked previously.

Site is a test site, so I may just blow it away. If you have something I can check first that would be great.

Out of curiosity, what are reasonable response times for support, so I may adjust my expectations accordingly?

Seriously, it takes four hours for someone to say MojoMotor isn’t dead. Four hours! A question like that should have had an answer in minutes.

You have people on the EE forums complaining spam lives for weeks after being reported, and the spam I reported this AM on these forums is still extant. I also gave up reporting it when I realized how much there actually was. It doesn’t look good when you can’t keep your own forums spam free.

It also looks crappy when someone goes an entire business day without acknowledgement.

You can go ahead and close this one up. I don’t even care anymore.

Off to see see if Perch support is any better.

Entirely new database, entirely fresh install. Same results. I’d write what I think about this, but these forums won’t let me swear. They will let super nice and helpful and friendly people spam them though.

If anyone wants my license they are welcome to it. I’m done with this product.

    Hi Chris,

I know you’re frustrated, and I apologize for that. To address your expectation, our stated support policy is a response within 48hrs during the US business week.

I’m sorry you felt ignored for less than a day, you can imagine the load is a bit high after a 3 day weekend!

I’d love to extend the olive branch and let us get in for a closer look at this. If you’re up for it, let me know.

    Cheers,

I was the only one to post to the mojomotor forums yesterday. I understand it’s one company, but when there’s no activity here the forums look ignored.

I wasn’t asking for a resolution. Just a timely acknowledgement of the problem. Nearly 14 hours on…nothing.

From my perspective 48 hours is a broken standard. Two business days to get a response? That’s actually shocking to me. If my hosting company took that long I’d be hosting elsewhere.

At the point of a totally new DB and clean install it’s either my hosting environment or something in the software. I’m willing to try something. Let me know what.

    In the *MojoMotor* forums.

EllisLab Support manages the support queue based on a set of FIFO metrics, and the MM and EE forums are combined in that queue. That way the time of OP is used rather than which forum for which product etc.

The OP time, then the time since a customers last response with no response from a staff member and a few other factors determine the order. Admittedly, not perfect and it’s why we have a much better support experience with guaranteed response times down to 4hrs coming soon. I want to extend you a taste of that personal level of attention.

Be on the lookout for an email from EllisLab.

    Thank you for your patience!
