    Hi,

There was recently a weird problem on a one of our EE2 setups. When trying to upload a video file (about 9mb) with the file upload facility, we get an error about hitting the PHP file upload limit. This limit however is set to 32mb (as seen in phpinfo()). Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Hi John,

    Sure thing!

PHP has a couple of settings in .ini that can impact file uploads. The actual file-size limit, your 32MB value. But there is also the max post size value. That limits the total size of the POST array on submitted forms.

You may need to crank that up as well to allow for larger files to be uploaded.

What version of ExpressionEngine are you on?

    Cheers,

    Thanks Dan!

We had missed that. It’s set to 8M so guessing that would solve the problem.

hmm increasing didn’t work. Were getting onto our hosting company. If they can’t resolve it, I might be back. Thanks.
