Guys-
Urgent issue here.. check this out:

If you open that page, currently I’m seeing the page DOWNLOAD instead of render.
Has anyone seen this before? gzip compression was turned on, but i’ve turned it off and cleared caches, which seems to have no effect.
Thankx in advance for any ideas.

Loads fine for me. Mac/Chrome.

We’ve seen this, and I believe it was and issue with a missing sub_directory segment in the .htaccess file that cause it for us. I believe it was on an older EE 1.6.x site we had moved to a newer Apache 2 server and it took a bit to track down as I recall. Looks like you’ve already found the issue on your site.

I’ve been getting intermittent reports of this on my production servers as well, and have noticed same issues/context as noted by “octavianmh”. Looking forward to some brainstorming on this front.

As Kurt noted, octavianmh’s site worked fine for me as well.
It definitely has to do with the server rather than ExpressionEngine. Are there any specifics you can share? .htaccess, etc?
