Hi there,

I’m using MSM for a Dutch website and a German website. The default language in the general configuration is Dutch, however I want the default language on the second site to be German, so that the date format=”%m” works well.

I tried adding:

$assign_to_config['language'] = 'deutsch';

to the German site, but this doesn’t help.

Ofcourse the folder “deutsch” with the German language is installed in system/expressionengine/language.

Any idea’s?

Nevermind, fixed it myself.

I was under the impression that the default language set at “general configuration” was systemwide, for all MSM sites, however this is not the case. I changed this setting to German at the second website and this didn’t affect the Dutch website.
