I run an Expression Engine backed website for a software company. Any suggestion on how I could make a system to allow users to vote on new features we are consider adding to our software?

Simplest option is to use a like feature for each entry, Likee is useful for this http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/likee. You could have a button called vote and then use the counter to show how many votes each channel has.
Other voting systems are available such as DevDemons Channel Ratings http://www.devdemon.com/channel_ratings/
You could also use a 3rd party service if you needed more functionality.

Hi Runarb,
You can use Solspace “Favorite” module also to vote and count the vote feature with one difference instead of showing favorites for any entry show the total votes….
