I’ve read this:

What’s not too clear to me, if what happens when I’m building a query within the template as based on a segment in the URL

for example:

mysite.com/temlate-a/page-1

mysite.com/template-a/page-2

So if I cache template-a will each individual page it creates be cached?

Yeah, kinda a n00b question, sorry. EE and caching has always been one of those “I wish I knew more about” things. Looks like now is finally the time.

btw, if there are any 3rd party blog posts on the subject, please share those as well.

Quick answer is yes - each page variation from the same template will be cached.
