    Hello,

I have a page at http://www.mydomain.com/dir/page1 in EE

On that page it has a flash script with hard coded links in it to support files that are supposed to be in the same dir. Once I put the flash script in EE, it is no longer in the same dir. I cant edit the swf file to set absolute urls, any ideas where I can put the support files that the swf will find them?

    Thanks!

What version of EE?  What are the relative paths in the .fla?  What is the reason you can’t change the .fla?

    Hey Brian_az,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums.

I have the same question as Environmed. Is there a reason you cannot update the .fla file?

Can you show me an example of the hardcoded link?

Can you recreate the structure on your server?

    Thank you,

I purchased the FLA file and they do not provide the source files

I have a page at http://www.mydomain.com/dir/page1 in EE

What I ended up doing is making a folder on the server called dir (same group name as in ee) and putting the files in there, and it works.

    Lmk if thats dumb/bad.

    Thanks!

    Hey Brian_az,

Sounds good to me. Not dumb at all.

Is there anything else I can help with?

    Cheers,
